Hadley, The Surprise Winner!

Hadley has finally arrived. I hope you enjoy this four minute clip of Hadley reminiscing about her adventures with Ernest in Europe.
You might notice that I am posting this at 2:20 am. My son has graciously spent the evening helping me and it took us quite a bit longer than we thought to post this. A small triumph -
Speaking of triumphs, listen to this:
These tapes belong to the Ernest Hemingway Collection/John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, Boston

I greatly appreciate your son's time, and yours! This was totally delightful, and I laughed outloud!
I loved this!!! Hope to hear more! Maybe it won't take you guys so long to add another audioclip, since you've experienced doing one already. THANK YOU, THANK YOU , THANK YOU! Hadley is so funny, and so cute! Imagine the gaiety, hilariarity, and the fun of spending time with Ernest. I think he and Hadley both had great senses of humor, and were full of fun!
An excellent technical accomplishment! Congrats to you and your son on getting the audio to work.
I love the chat Hadley is having – but I must confess her voice is not how I imagined it to be! I'd call it an "Ivy League" tone to her voice
Thank you, I am excited too! Now that we've done it once, I hope it will get easier. Isn't she funny? There are alot of moments like this in the tpaes that are delightful.
Hopefully this weekend he can teach me how to post more of it by myself! Allie
This is great! What a treat to hear her voice. Strangely and conversely to Paul's/Nikon's comment, it's exactly what I thought it would be. Tell your son that it greatly appreciated and that your blog followers are very pleased with his generosity of time. It pushes the already excellent blog towards new heights.
I know this story from Carlos Baker, but so much fun to hear it in her own words! She's so funny and lively! Thanks for sharing this, Allie!
I think I am going to have to agree with Nikon. Hadley's voice is different from what I had imagined, but it is beautiful. Thanks for this and future clips!
Thank you Allie. This is very wonderful. It puts a voice to the personality, and Hadley sounds as cultured as I imagined her.
Thank you so much. I have been searching everywhere for these tapes. I just finished readung "The Paris Wife" and hearing Her voice makes her all the more beautiful…THANK YOU
